my g35 with pics,(slow build thread) also a question

Hey everyone ive been under the radar on this forum and decided to post pics of my car. Its a 2003 g35 coupe with k&n air filter, full borla exhaust/headers, and soon to be full audio system, I have 2 jl 10w7s, slash 1000/1 amp focal 3 way components and 30th anniversary 6.5s, also a jl hd 600/4 amp. Im new to the forums and was wondering if I could get some ideas and input, thanks guys.

COngrats and welcome - looks liek apretty nice audio set-up you are working on!

I'd recommend some new wheels - maybe some 19" OEM's or something else...

What are your plans for the car? Performance, show, track daily driven, etc??

thanks, these pictures are with eagle winter rims, the previous owner also included the stock rims powdercoated black which are currently on the car. Im planning on A lot with this car to make it showy and fast, love clean setups thats why its taken me quite a while to pull the trigger on my audio install. I want the trunk clean with a false floor for the amps and my spare battery, but my local shop wants about 1800 for the install which im not sure sounds right.

I would rethink the 2 10W7's and maybe switch it for a single 12 because you need to sacrifice a LOT of trunk room to give the subs proper box space. However, if you don't care about trunk space and don't mind taking out the spare tire, then putting the 2 subs in your car with the right enclosure would hit HARD

thanks for responses guys, i already removed the spare tire, theres actually TONNES of extra room once the tire and plastic pieces are removed, cant wait for the install just want to make sure its exactly what I want it to look like because im not used to paying so much for an install/build, I try and stay away from the electronic portion of my car though lol.

I've driven' my G in snow plenty of times. It's scary every time xd. But, that's what I get for my choice in cars... My daily n_n. I've been stuck a few times; fortunately in safe places. Also forgot about the whole VDC thing... Turn it off when you're stuck.

That's without chains or special tires. Be safe out there!

unfortunately I did "winterbeat" my car last winter, the car did well with good winter tires on it and didnt worry me even in the worst snowstorms we had I still took it out for a spin. Its like anything though and i switched my winters off a bit early in the season and was terrible, all down to good tires and steady gas pedal foot.
