I want to get some more power out of my 5AT and figured MD ART V2 pipes would be a great addition to my plenum spacer. All the sound clips I've heard from the MD ART pipes sound great except for the hissing at throttle release. Is that inevitable? I really want that low end torque but don't want any weird sounds coming out of my stock exhaust. I can handle smelly fumes but that hissing seems unusual. Can anyone with stock exhaust and ART pipes comment on sound? Most of the sound clips I've heard are with aftermarket exhausts. Thanks.

 

with stock exhaust you can still hear the hiss.
You can get rid of that with heat wrap on the pipes, i think
