Gotta be careful going that fast, even if it is close to the speed of the flow of traffic. Our cars stand out against camry's and such, especially if you're modded. Usually you got to go slower to try to make that bullseye on your car less evident.

And you are likely going to pay in the $400-500+ range depending on the cost of the traffic school you choose. You can go in on your court date to try to get it reduced though. Just be happy you can do traffic school so your insurance doesn't get bumped.

Got one late last year, on the 805 south. I was driving my Corolla and the cop pulled me over saying that I was going 80+ miles. I asked if he had the radar, and said no he was tailing me. To make a long story short, ticket was $380 here in San Diego. So expect to make roughly the same amount of donation to the city of San Diego.... Take the traffic school so no points will be added to your driving record, thus increasing your insurance payment. Kep in mind that you still would have to pay the citation. GL....

What's up with all the busting and I hope you learned your lesson stuff? Lol you r getting scammed by the pd. I have a traffic lawyer that I have used for probably 15 tickets. I have always gotten them dismissed and her fee is usually less than the ticket and always less than insurance rate increases. Read some online reviews in your area and get a traffic lawyer. You will say a ton of money in the long run.

I got a ticket going over 80 around Grossmont on the 8 a few months ago (1 month after getting my G). He wrote me for doing 80+. It was around $230 but then if you take traffic school instead of fighting the ticket, it'll be around $287 (not including traffic school fees).

I think if he wrote you for going 85+, it would be $150 more, so be thankful he didn't.

Take online traffic school. It's pretty easy.

It sucks getting a ticket. Now I have to obey the law.

Dude just find yourself a lawyer who does traffic citations. I'm blessed to have a friend who is a lawyer and doesn't let me pay for traffic violations. All I do is give him the ticket he takes it in and it gets knocked down to an illegal parking ticket and all I do is pay 190 for the fine. I have had 10 speeding tickets since I started driving in 03. I would suspect that a lawyer may run you an extra 100 bucks but well worth not getting points or having to go to traffic school.
