As promised, here is the final result. I am very pleased with the outcome. I can honestly say, I will never do this again! It took FOREVER!!!

Thanks to those that helped giving me tips! It worked out perfectly!

These pics are from my iphone so they don't show the "shine" like it should. They are very glossy and look amazing in person though.

Yup got a little closer. Scotched the back rims lightly but never broke through the paint so I just clear coated them and they came out great. I think the temperature where I'm at is causing the clear coat to dry so I think that is why I needed to spray a few inches closer.

Ok, sorry to bring this thread back up but I am still unpleased with my back wheels. They are no where near as glossy as my fronts are. Now that it's been a little over a month, would it be safe to try and re-apply a clear coat to them? I'm guessing I should scotch pad first then wipe clean, then apply the clear coat. Also, I no longer have my friends floor jack or jack stands so would it be a bad idea to do this while on the car? Obviously I would put a ton of newspaper behind the wheels so the calipers and rotors are safe and also I would cover the entire area of my car that is anywhere near the tire. Bad idea? or should it be fine as long as I tape everything off VERY well. Thanks guys

Yeah just take the clear coat off as best as you can. It's fine if you just apply it onto the wheel without it jacked up, just mask it off really well.

DO NOT PAINT IT ON THE CAR!!!!!!!! YOU WILL GET OVERSPRAY EVERYWHERE EVEN IF YOU TAPE OFF! the only way to not get overspray is if you tape off the whole car. wind will carry the paint.

Ok ok!!! Haha I've decided to just buy some 20's and sell these anyway. I'm done messing with them.
