i think i did pretty well, well i did better than edmunds true market value and carsdirect.


I guess MSRP is the norm for southern california. I was able to get a 05 coupe 5at for $33200 with just the base car and performance tire and wheel package. thats only $700 under msrp.

was this even good? i came away thinking it was good based on the internet research i did, but i dont have any real stories from other socal area buyers.

los angeles area. i got it at the glendale dealer.

 

i think that's the norm for the metropolitan areas in california. i live in the s.f. bay area and was able to get about $1200 off msrp and some free accessories thrown in for a 05 6mt coupe. but $700 off is fair considering it's socal. did you try the infiniti dealer in riverside? i would think that since it's boony-land there, it may be easier to deal/haggle.

 

yeah they claimed they couldnt give me a ton off msrp, because the car i bought didnt have many options, so there wasnt anything to shave off on the options. makes sense i guess.

didnt go to riverside, thats like 70 miles away, and well they didnt have the color/options combos i wanted.

 

lol you only got 1 option. infiniti probably makes like 5% base models out of the whole year. i wanted a bare 6MT when i got my 04, but after hitting the lot, i ended up with every freaking options. but good deal i guess.
