Question Jdm battery cover pics needed

I have found only one good post here with install pics of the right side cover install..Anyone have pics that i havent seen and can use? I am taking pics of my install to post, but need a better view on where to trim..Thanks.

jus follow/copy the other side and ull eventually see where and how much to trim off. i wouldnt go with the online pics cus they jus chopped of the entire side which isnt neccessary

You need to trim off that entire side if you want to have the rubber trim and want your hood to close flush all the way. I broke my head trying to figure out how to make it fit without and cutting but I couldn't find a way. So I just ended up trimming off that entire piece. Final result, it doesn't look bad at all.

Just actually lay it down as it will sit on the car and see what does not fit flush. You'll figure out that very little needs to de trimmed down. I believe I trimmed some of the upper left hand side. Again, not much at all. And you do need a couple of the snaps to hold it down. You can use one of the existing hole that te car already has.

Jibber, it looks as if youve trimmed off " just" beyond the rib where the rubber seal would be..I was going to trim " just to " the rib..That may be a good starting point..Great pic! Thanks

after following the other side mine ended up looking like the pic above which is better cus the pics from the vendors shows them chopping the whole corner off

^ ahha I chopped mine up.. i fail to follow instructions...I even used a dremel to cut down the metal :X
