Quote: The benefit of modding as you get older is that you actually have the ability to afford more your modding habits.

Quote: just turned 32 man...and just as gettinby said,,,the fever never never goes away...and plus as you said, your asian,,,its in your blood to mod an import!!...lmao,,,,just messing man, but i honestly think that if your into cars truely, that love for anything with a motor and wheels will never go away, just evolve into differ forms. Meaning new projects....the g prob isnt the first car you ever modded?!?!
you're right! it is in my blood! its my destiny. haha. i actually had an a4 1.8t before the g. did a couple of mods; nothing extravagant. lowered, blacked out grill, tint. and from what i remember it was fun making it stand out from others. and now with the g, its so hard not to do anything. it has so much potential!

I'm 47 and don't see stopping anytime soon. Owned performance cars since I was 15.
I've attended alot of car shows and plenty of guys in thier 60's and 70's driving HotRods and other modded vehicles.

Im 22 and I skimmed through the posts on this thread so sorry if has been said here, but "age" is just a number if u think about it, doesn't matter if you're 16 or 80 if you have a passion for cars, then you have a passion... it will never die, its part of who you are. For example my grandfather is in his 70's he takes trips all around the world and does stuff that I cant even do, such as skiing down uncharted mountains... I think WTF, but then realize that, if hes passionate about going places, seeing things, and doing things that most people his age DO NOT DO, then by all means enjoy you're time on this earth and do what you want with life, and love every moment of it and never look back on your mistakes and faults and things you might not have done because at one point in time you wanted to do those things, and that makes you an individual from the rest....

Wow that was a hell of a speech, I hope all that read this are enlightened and inspired to do things that aren't necessarily viewed as the "norm" of society.
