Damn, there was a thread with pics.... I cant remember what the title was though.

Where the little metal floater arm hits the unit, theres like a gap and I guess the board is located in the gap. Itll look clean, but everyone says once you swab a couple qtips in there youll see gunk.

I havent tried it yet, I dont drive my car much and Ive been waiting till my tank is near empty to do it. Maybe in a couple days!

 

Well, according to the car, IT'S ALWAYS EMPTY!

 

lol. Very true. I show 110mi on my trip, so I have 90mi left and my gas light is already on. =(

 

Just replace the sending unit...
Infinitiparts online it's like 78 bucks... don't forget a new O ring while your there!

Pop the rear seat
Remove the hatch cover ( Drivers side I believe )
Disconnect 2 pin connector
Remove 10 ( ish ) 8 mm bolts
Remove sender
Replace as needed
