P1283 SES code

Hi all,

Was wondering if anyone had a fix for this issue. Been searching on the forums and there seems to be a good amount of people with this SES, but no solid fix.

My mods are, UPREV tune, headers, highflow cats, exhaust, MREV2, 5/16 Spacer, and Stillen Intake. The tune was done after all the mods.

So far the shop has replaced both the sensors by the headers. The light came back on after that, rechecked the sensors and they were fine. We checked for exhaust leaks and everything was fine. Did the tb reset, along with the self-learning reset. The light came back on.

When they shop hooks up with car to the diagnostics, everything seems to be running fine. The car runs great, and I have not noticed any drop in gas mileage or any issues. They checked the A/F on the tune, and that also checks out fine. This has stumped us here and any help would be greatly appreciated!

Anyone have a fix?

Yep, it is bank 1 sensors / lean condition. The sensors were replaced, and the tune shows that it is within parameters which is the weird part. Driving me nuts!!

BUMP~

Very slight OC, nothing too bad just 1 quart / 3500 miles, no exhaust leaks either

Possibly piston rings? Have you had a compression test? I know this doesn't really relate much but it's always a possibilty
