Clear Corner Problem

Not sure why, but I've lost a 2nd side-marker on the driver side. First the OEM which I didn't mind too much since had plans on replacing with the CC - now the clear-corner w/ bump fell off along with the bulb.

The fit on that side is not as snug as the other - any ideas on tightening that fit, besides gluing, and drilling? Do adjusting the clips make a difference? Are the clear corners w/o the bumps a better fit?

The metal tab that secures the side marker could be bent in, so it's not as snug as it should be. Or there could be damage to the hole in the bumper where the tab is inserted. It's not that complicated; they just pop in and out. You should be able to just look and tell the difference between the two sides. Good luck.

Didn't see a different in the holes - I'll take a closer look later - was thinking about putting a little piece of electric tape on the bumper tabs and see if it's tighter. Thanks.

^ That may work. Are you buying the authentic ones or the ebay knockoffs?

When you pop the side marker in place is it loose? If so, can you tell if it's loose toward the front of the car or the rear?

I ask because I'm assuming the metal clips that lock into the bumper have been squished. Bending them back out so they will be wider will make them fit snugly.

Hard to tell, but I would say the rear - I did pull them out at first before figuring out how easy they were to replace, and then I pushed them back in.. When I get my new ones, I try that - Thanks.

Damn - I just realized one of the wires on the blub housing came loose - Is there's a way to fix that? Please don't tell me I have to replace that whole wire harness? I read a post while SEARCHING that said to replace the wiring for side markers was big $$. I also read that the driver license tag light uses the same wire harness, and were easier to get. Is that my best option if the side marker wires can't be fixed?

IDK, I'd need to see a pic of the damage to be able to tell if its fixable. But even if you have to replace the 194 connection, it won't cost that much at all.
