So what g35 years officially have oil consumption issues?

ive known this for a while now but for some reason im curious now and im sure its been a huge topic..and ive searched and keep seeing different things so my question is...what year g35's have the oil consumption issues...according to infinitis TSB its 05-07..so the 04's dont have this problem?

i tried searching for this specific question to no avail.

Seriously... It brought up 8 pages of the word "Oil consumption" in searching titles ONLY. Is there something NOT covered in those 8 pages of threads that I am not aware of?



edit: And you have been a member since 2006.... *sigh*

Best answer....^....and you could have found the same information by just searching "OC" since that's what most members call it. OC is generally found in G35s with the VQ engine 6MT '05 thru '07. Once in a while someone will have the same problem with other years but it's normally caused by high mileage and infrequent service. (oil changes)

Wow how about showing some respect..i did search and i did see 10 pages of oc threads the problem is i dont have 4 hours to go through all of them to see if people with 04 engines had the problem. Why do i bother coming and asking if all ill get is smart *** answers. Its a shame.

And yet another case of someone who doesnt like looking through a few threads on a topic thats been well established. Dont get upset that you have all the info you need but dont feel like taking your precious time reading about it.
