IF you were to sell your G35 what would you get around the 15-18k range?

I would try to save another 2 and keep your eye out for a bada55 price on an 06+ IS250. Definitely.

Or neither. Unless youre a chick, dont get a lexus. Steering is dumb loose, you can steer with your nut hairs. Ive driven an IS-F for a few hours so i cant begin to imagine how light the steering on a 250/350 is. Be a man, save up another 4 g's on top of your 18k and get a 335i used with about 40k miles. Of course 335i sedan is not as attractive as the coupe, but itll run laps on the G and its german so you know interior and build quality in general's gonna be top notch. Can you say twin turbo? If you dont have the time to save up, the tl-s will be the best bet, but keep in mind fwd isnt nearly as fun to drive.

What car would u get around 15-18k$$

gotta be 4 door....fun to drive and as quick as the G....prefer a manual but auto may work depending on car.

Seems like most people on these forums forgot how to read and count, reading comprehension 101

+1 335i. More costly to maintain than the G, but an attractive, fast, reliable sedan.

Considering you have a baby maybe consider a Volvo S60 R.

My personal favorites (other than the G) are the TL-s A spec and IS350.

04+ Acura TL or TSX, 04+ Lexus gs300 or gs350, G37 sedan, I would NOT get a BMW just on personal preference. If u wanna go German buy a mid 2000's Mercedes!!!

And check out some of the sedan owners pics! They got some pretty nice rides. Stock might be a lil boring for a g sedan but fix it up a little and it's a new car!

Used 2005 Cadillac CTS-V with 5.7l ls6 or the 2006 Cadillac CTS-V with 6.0l LS2 motor both making 400hp and running circles around G35.

I think for quality and performance, a lexus is a great option. An IS350 was the other car I was looking at, but the G35 won. They do seem to hold value a smidge better than the G does.
German is a great way to go, slightly higher maintenance costs but again you'll find nice quality with a decent amount of power.
Evo or STI are both fun cars, but your definately talking a cheaper interior and alot more road noise.
Altima and Maxima are both excellent options if you want to keep it Nissan!
Good luck!
