New Company Please Read

Hey all,

I am thinking about starting a website catering to high end performance automotive and motorcycle parts. I have seen a ton of sites out there both good and bad. I am writing this post to ask opinions of what you (customers) would like in a web site?
I am looking for all forms of feedback and input. Please feel free to shoot me any ideas you might have or thoughts.

It will be a e-commerce site with hopefully down the line an brick and mortar retail shop. I would like to specialize in higher end performance parts.

Thanks
J

Please don't make stupid A** policies that will **** of the customer. What I mean by that is outrageous restocking fees on items that have not even been ordered or get dropped shipped and have plenty of time to cancel. Screw the customer once and we will collectively make sure to wreck havoc on your business and spread the truth about your shady practices. The internet is not something to mess with and will turn you into a millionaire or bankrupt just as quick. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS KEY!!!!!

Make that little effort to contact your customer if something might be late. For example, if something needs to be drop shipped, and your supplier doesn't get you a tracking number right away, spend an extra 5 minutes to let your customer know that there was a slight delay in getting a number from them. I've had to deal with this, and I often become worried that my vendor simply does not give a ****.
