Yeah that's good. You've never driven an IPL with 18 more horsepower and not carrying the extra weight of quatro yet you know that a quatro is better. Fanboy...kinda I bought my coupe in 2002 and understand what it is. Notice I own a Mercedes and a Mazda Miata. Not quite a fanboy. In 2002 the auto press called the G35 one of the best looking coupes ever...it still is. Ever drive any of Mercedes Benz AMG series. You should try one they are the equivalent to Audi's S4 series (cheapest MB AMG). Go to the Mercedes Benz dealer and drive the new C63 AMG which is MB's entry level performance car. 451hp standard with optional AMG package 480 hp and they also have a C63 black edition in the low 500hp. Then come back and tell me about the S4.

Bang...!!! you got me. The 2005 V8 produces 344hp still 4hp under the IPL. I don't know shyt about Audi's because they are at the bottom of my list of German cars I would own. So they are getting 11 more horsepower out of a V8 as opposed to the V6. Hummm...wonder why they stopped making an S4 V8. Let's see??? sales maybe.

Yes, I'm comparing what Audi calls the bottom of their performance line the S4 to what MB calls the bottom of their performance the C63 AMG. For BMW it would be the M3.

I was just making a comparison similar to the original question with responses. Of course a V8 S4 is going to be faster than a 2005 G35 coupe. My comparison is based on new car vs new car. I'll put the IPL up against the S4. I am and will always be a strong defender of the G35. Frequently posters are always asking should I buy a 2003 G35 coupe or a 2003 Viper. (mild exaggeration but, similar to these types of questions.) If you own a G and love it great...if you want something else then shut up and buy it!!! S4, AMG 63, M3...the best buy in this category would be the M1.

Well S4 looks way better than a G coupe maybe I just don't like coupes but what ever I also think the S4 looks better than a G sedan, the interior is nicer in my opinion in a S4, I like the sportyness of a S4 more than a G35, I like how it's the "S Line" not the regular A4.

My G is fully loaded as well i don't know where ur trying to get at by trying to prove ur G is better than mine...but since were doin this...my paint has 0 miles on it fresh paint as of today...since were acting like 12 year olds I know ur paint isn't nicer than mine lmfao, 2011 Audi A7 (around the same price point as ur 2011 E550) is nicer than ur benz, & imo looks better, we had a 2007 S550 when they came out & I would take an A8L over the S550 imo that is what this thread is about right? personal opinions?

daaaaaaaaaaaaamn lil boys getting heated over their nissans. chill the fck out. s4 will shiiit on g35 unless its F/I. its german. performance and build quality is nowhere near a nissan or infiniti AND its quattro, probably the best known 4 wheel drive system. i own a g35 coupe, my brother owns an 05 s4. would NEVER take a G over an S4. the G does look "sexier" where every girl wants to drop her panties in after a house party. the S4 is one "classy" beast where you take a model out to dinner in and go over her place after. yea the G has a nice stock exhaust sound, but the s4 has a NICE engine sound. i would rather listen to a v8 engine roar than a v6 exhaust note ANYDAY. the downside is the maintenance on a german car, but that goes without saying. i dont hate on Gs but people on this forum got their head way too far up their assses and put the g up on the pedestal. i love my g but it cant compete with most german cars. the a4's on the other hand, are garbage.
