More BAD URL IS FIXED G Racing Vids! LINKS FIXED!
I have three videos now available online courtesy of Boones ( G-Owners Webmaster and Proprietor!)
The vids are all of the same session on a cold Saturday morning, October 16th at RoadAmerica in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.
The three videos differ in speed, music, and captions.
Normal Speed - No Captions - No Music (19M+)
http://www.g-owners.com/pictures_ima..._SatVid2lo.wmv
300% Speed - Captions - Speed Metal (21M+)
http://www.g-owners.com/pictures_ima.../trackwmp3.wmv
300% Speed - Captions - Rockabilly (26M+)
http://www.g-owners.com/pictures_ima...rackwmp3go.wmv
Please do not stream - right-click and 'Save Target As ...'
A story to accompany the session will be up on G-owners soon - I will link to it at that time.
Quickie notes: I learned that you can appreciate the line that you take on a track much better if you speed up the playback of the session. It's easier to see the lines developing at higher playback rates. Also, you will no doubt note the strange framing of the video - this is because I had my DV camera suctioned to the inside of the right front passenger window. Despite my best efforts I could not level the camera using the supplied Chasecam ball mounts, so I rotated the resulting tilted image using Sony Screenblast video editing software. I used the same software to put on the captions and soundtrack.
I hope you enjoy 'em - I enjoyed the whole process, particularly the part where I get to drive fast!
