Arrow Coupe Driver's side window motor reset help

Hey guys,
So my window motor died and I tore it down to clean it, but it was beyond repair. I got a new motor, installed it and it works like a champ... except I can't reset it for the life of me! I've tried doing the reset procedure a dozen times and it didn't work because it always managed to over-lift when I shut the door and motor down half-way. After experimenting with the procedure and disconnecting the motor and the battery, I finally found a reset "combination" that worked, sort of... I held the reset button while I shut the window then released the button and opened the window all the way. Now the door will shut without the window rolling down, however, the auto up/down function doesn't work and It doesn't drop down when I open the door and motor up when I shut it. Does anyone have any ideas on how to reset it properly or fix the automatic stuff? I feel like I've tried everything and am out of ideas..
Thanks, Mike.

I just did the driverside window motor on mine maybe a month ago it was easy keep the door panel off when you do this get inside the car with the key in ignition with the power on car doesnt need to be running close the door hold down the reset button and put the window down using the window button but make sure to hold the button down dont use the auto feature and then hit the button for it to go all the way up while still holding down the reset button and not using the auto window function once you do that let go of the reset and try the window if you have any issues send me a pm

I already tried that actually...
I've tried it with the door open, the door shut, the window starting closed and opening it, the window starting open and closing it, the button being held down while the window went up, went down, went up and down, went down and up, and all around. I've tried everything, so can you think of something new? lol Thanks
