04 g35 all motor build

i just recently bought my first G35. it is a 6 speed. im looking to do some modifactions to it and i just wondering what other people think or what they got for hp and tq with a similar set up. so far i have an hks tru dual exhaust and a stillen intake with z tube. i plan on doing a all motor set up with a 75 shot of nitrous. looking to get some info on what upgrades would be best to spend my money on and what are good brands to buy. i have done lots of research about all this but i would like to get some input on my specific idea and see what power levels other people have gotten. i am sorta new to all this so any input is appreciated.

The two things you've already done ironically are probably two with the least gains. I think the things that will make the most difference will be a mrev2 and plenum spacer by motordyne, high flow cats or test pipes by anyone, Osiris ecu tune by UpRev, and probably weight-reduction in the form of wheels and clutch/flywheel. Other than that, you're not going to see much more for gains without a supercharger or turbo. The 75 shot should give you a nice boost, but I still wouldn't expect to be running with a built v8. Truth is, our cars just aren't that fast without spending another 5-8k on FI....but then you're running into reliability issues.

Yea I did the intake and exhaust to namely a bit louder and because it seemed like the cheapest and easiest upgraded to start with. I plan on doing the plenum spacer but idk about the mrev2. I thought that was an add on to the intake box. Will that work with my stillen intake? I'm not looking for crazy gains this car is my DD I'm just looking to give it a little more power.

The mrev2 is a replacement of your lower plenum. It basically looks the same from the outside, but has better, more direct air flow from the inside. It supposedly has the greatest gain of any of the mods listed. I did both the spacer ad mrev2 at the same time, primarily because I didn't want to have to take apart the plenum twice. I would highly recommend it if you plan on getting the most out of your car. Do the 75 shot after that...and then the Osiris tune last, this way you can have it tuned to take full advantage of all the mods you've already done. If you do the Osiris before you are done with engine mods, it will have to be re-tuned...which is not a big deal, but costs money. I think with everything listed, you should be good for low 13's in the 1/4.

You really need to do searching if you are asking these types of questions. I know it is confusing when you are new but there are so many threads to read that can give you all the answers to your basic questions. If you want to get more technical or higher than the "average" member's performance mods then post a thread or go to my350z

OP, just go with the MREV 2 and the spacer. The kinetix and/or cosworth plenums are mainly for those that have already gone FI and will get max gains on those types of plenums. It would not be a bad idea to add HFC or test pipe to mod list too. Doing these things should improve the intake and exhaust portion. Getting the tune is the last you want to do once you have all your bolt on's in place.

Yea I am new to this but I have spent a lot of time researching all this stuff. And there are so many problem voting both ways so I decided to post what I want to do specifically and see what people thought would be better for my set up. I was confused about the mrev2 and after reading the reply I looked into it a bit more. I'm not trying to sound like a complete newbie but some people say do the manifold cause the spacer and mrev2 suck while others say the manifold is a waste of money and the mrev2 and spacer is the best upgrade. I guess it all depends on what set up you have in mind and not everyone plans on doing the same thing so I was just looking for specific opinions. After all the bolt on are good I plan on building the heads too before I do nitrous

He has a non revup 6mt motors guys he wouldn't benefit much from a mrev2. Only 05 and 06 6mt will provide more gains with a spacer + mrev2. So 5/16 spacer from MD will work just fine. If you want to see large gains just go FI.

^EDIT: You beat me to it

You don't NEED the MREV2 since you have the non-revup engine, it will still give you gains but they will be minimal. Open up the exhaust with straight pipes or HFC's and get a MotorDyne plenum spacer. Top it off with an Osiris tune.

Thanks for all the info. I think I'm going to get high flow cats and the spacer then save for a supercharger.
