Thinking of getting some work done to my 2003 nissan G35.
Was looking at getting:
Z-Tube OEM from 350z
K&N POD Filter
Motordyne Engineering Plenum Spacer
TransGo Shift Kit
But when i was talking to a mechanic, he said those would be useless with the stock exhaust and said im bettter off getting:
http://www.nengun.com/hks/exhaust-manifold-stainless
http://www.nengun.com/tomei/exhaust-...ight-frontpipe
Anyone know the best mods to get? With good HP-money ratio
thanks!

first off since i know all the older members here will tell u is to use the search button...it is your friend!!!
now thats out the way best bet is start off with the MD spacer, ztube and a filter combo.
shift kit will give u crisper shifts but you might want to look into an exhaust first. a complete exhaust will give you nice pick up with the spacer and intake.
AT would suggest a grounding kit....one of our members makes a kit that is perfect for our cars.
and most power gains go fi!!!

To begin, find a new mechanic he doesn't know squat about your car! We have a "sticky" at the top of the page titled "first mods" I suggest you read it. I didn't say anything about our SEARCH but it's a very good idea for any questions you might have! Your list of mods is a good one, stick with it as a beginning....

Tons of threads out there to answer your question as others have noted. After reviewing them if you have a specific question post up in that respective thread or start a new one if necessary.
