The fix might not be that hard to do yourself, but you'd have to tear apart your door to even have a chance. In the meantime how about listing what year your car is...

back from the dead...
03 coupe same problem.. have to roll down my windows to open the door. Inside handle works great... Just wondering what parts might i need before I rip my door panel a new one. Good thing I am familiar with the insides due to changing out the wndow motors and lock actuators... Nissan Quality brah
any advice is appreciated pls help

There is a short cable that connects the outside handle to the latching mechanism in the door. Real PITA to access. After removing the inside trim panel, the inner door skin has to be unbolted and the window taken out before the inner skin can be removed. After that it's not so bad. Go to infinitihelp.com and you can download and print instructions for all this.

Thanks for the reply triple og, will I be able to just tape the glass window up, or have a helper hold the glass up? I replaced the window motor before and just had the glass taped up from falling down. I never removed the actual glass... Wow seems like a lot of work but I'm gonna take pictures incass any other gdrivers need reference.
