How did you put the 2.5" FI HFC to the 2.25" HR Y pipe? Someone has got to know this answer lol

 

^^^You know what, bout to sell my HR Y-pipe and pick up 2.5" Y-pipe of any damn kind lol..

How do the berks sound though?

 

Hard to say! I installed the hks replica at the same time so that over powers everything! It's loud as f***! I heard a YouTube clip that sounded good but videos never do it justice.

 

2,5" to 2.25" creates rasp. I dealt with it myself. If you're asking about install issues, there should be none. All flanges should match up fine. It's just the piping that is different sizes.

 

MadtotheA- if you wanna hear a good exhaust, meet over at soho motorsports in Charlotte this weekend. I'll have my full motordyne exhaust done then. Art pipes are the last step and they'll be installed at soho this weekend. Those guys are also momentum performance dealers/install guys and one of them has a momentum exhaust one his white z..... That is another extremely clean sounding one!

 

Thank you for answering the question that has been bugging the **** out of me! Lol I actually might be going to soho this week but I can't this weekend. I'm almost certain I'm putting my stick exhaust back on and selling my berks and hks knockoff. I'm going to put that money towards those xxr 526 rims. I'm done with performance, it's just not worth it to me. I don't race or drive fast. I'm a cruiser lol.

 

Me too, but I fell in love with the full MD exhaust the first time I heard it...

 

12 whp, 12 tq. Yeah it sounded great but had mad drone. I've since switched to the Shockwave V2 axle back.

I didn't install them myself, but they bolted right up, no modifications or anything.
