Removed the rear seats from my car. Placed the bottom cushion in the garage. Had to go buy something and took the car out to buy the stuff. I park backwards in my driveway because it reduces scraping. So came back home, and began to back into the garage like always. Except this time, I forgot I had my rear seat cushions in the garage until I was backing up and the entire car bounced upward. I was like OMG WTF HOLY **** I JUST RAN OVER A PERSON. I quickly hop out and I was relieved that it wasn't a person, just my seat. Then I got ****ing pissed because holy ****, I just ran over my rear cushion.

So now my rear tire had completely gone over the seat. I tried to pull it out in the garage. But it was stuck under the sideskirt. It was pinned down, so what I did was slowly drive the car forward out of the garage, into the driveway (dragging and scraping the seat lol). For some stupid reason. I thought having it out on the driveway would help me be able to pull it from under the skirt. Which didn't help at all, since my garage and driveway are flat and level with each other. So I decide to drive halfway off the driveway so the skirt gets more clearance.

Except my dumbazz realizes that the skirt goes down first before it gets clearance coming off the driveway, squishing the seat even more. I do it anyway. Keep in mind, my driveway is pretty rough textured. So I was dragging this seat on it.

At this point, I'm sure my seat is 100% toast.

Anyway, I finally manage to pull it out from under the skirt, and to my surprise, the thing had no damage at all, not even the bottom. Not even a rip from the skirt. I wiped the tire track off (lol) and it looked brand spankin new. Mounted it back in the car without a hitch.

Ran over them with my rear tires. Pinned them under the sideskirt. Yanked on them violently. Dragged them across the garage floor, and the driveway. Squished them under the skirt off the driveway.

Indestructable seats.

That's why I never eat in my car! I don't let people bring food or drinks into my car either.

First "moment of shame" was when my wife rear ended an SUV and punched a hole in a front bumper.
As a result, ended up getting a new "Nismo" bumper.

Second was when she backed into a mail box and cracked OEM spoiler. Ended up getting a new spoiler.

Third was back on Valentines day in 09 when a guy back into me at a traffic light. He missed his on ramp and decided to back up into my G. Bent the crap out of the hood, scratched headlight and bumper and cracked a front grille. I got a hood replaced, bumper resprayed, headlight buffed out and did nothing to a grille.

Rewind back to October 2010 when my wife got T-boned at an intersection.
During a restoration process G got a new impull sides, roof was painted black, rims got powder coated metallic silver, got projector headlights and got them painted and got an emblemless grille to replace the old cracked one from a previous accident.

All in all she has been through 4 accidents that required parts replacement. My G is a well weathered veteran, and from each moment of shame she rises better than ever.

An overloaded pickup 2 cars ahead of me had his leaf spring snap and his spring bar hit the pavement, bounced over the car in front of me and speared my front bumper. I was doing 60 mph at the time. A couple of feet higher and I would have been killed.

Yep. It happened very fast - at the last second I was about to take drastic measures to avoid it, but decided against it (all in a split second) as I was afraid I'd smash into someone else. When the bar hit, the whole car shook. Very scary stuff. The pickup never even slowed - he sped off (with a broken suspension mind you) as I decided to pull over to check out the damage. I was totally shocked when I saw this.

Wow you seriously should have followed that truck. I definitely would have.

Who knows. that idiot continue overloading his truck and have this same thing happen again, only this time, with fatal consequences. The guy in the truck should have gotten his face smashed in for being a stupid fvck.

I thought about following him but I was more worried about the damage to the car at the time - I wasn't sure if it had entered the engine bay or gone under and ripped something up. Luckily, it was the front bumper only.
I spoke to a cop buddy of mine, to see if that section of the freeway was on video, to get his tag #. It was (under video surveillance) , but to pull the video from that camera, at that time, was a big hassle for what the cops considered a minor case (no injuries or major damage). So, he got away with it...

Technically, the person in front of him was the person with all of the luck, and g35dalf got the shitty end of the event. But to be optimistic, you still came out much better than what could've been; glad you're safe!

Ive been dreading this thread. lol Here its goes:
1st pic, lets just say dont drink and drive. i was still very drunk trying to park my car. I felt like s**t all day, even worse after i saw what i did to my car.
2nd pic, Koreatown parking sucks! When i use to park my car on the the street, she would get dinged at least one a week. I forgot to take a pic of her rear end. lol
3rd pic, pulling out of a parking stall at L.A. Fitness in Monterey Park. I rear ended a Hybrid Lexus back in May of this yr.
4th pic, I have no idea how this happened. I think i was too close to the curb turning right.
