Deal or No deal?

Just took my car to a mechanic at Infiniti and he charged me $350 for 90000 mile service which included his parts and OEM Fluids:

-Coolant, brake and steering flush
-in-cabin microfilter
-Mobil 1 Fully Synthetic oil change with OEM oil filter
-Drain and refill Diffrential and transmission fluids
-Replace spark plugs (I bought NGK Iridium separately from Advance Auto for $52)
-Replace rear brake pads (I bought OEM brake pads separately from Infiniti for $65)

He also told me that one of my belts was stripped so he recommended changing out both if I were to change one out. He said just buy the belts and he'd just put them in and told me to get PCV hose to intake cause it was cracking and told me to replace my rear tires since it started showing cords.

So, in total I have been charged $467 so far for 90k mile service. Could I possibly have anything else included in this service? It seemed like a reasonable price to me but seems like something else might be missing?

A lot of that you can probably DIY but either way it doesn't seem like a terrible price considering I've heard of dealerships charging $800+ for 60K services. If you have the right tools, none of those are too hard to do yourself.

Seems like a decent price... You should really get those tires replaced next since they are showing cords...Very unsafe!!! Let us know about the tire quote you get so we can give some feedback. GL...

I guess my question really is, how much did he charge for labor and how much did it run him for fluids? I heard stock fluids are real expensive..

Yes, I'm looking for some replacement tires with my new paycheck. Looking forward to getting some wider tires, you have any idea what's the widest we can go on stock 18"?

All in all, it took him nearly just 2 hours compared to me taking maybe a week-end to do it since I don't have most tools.

That does sound like a reasonable price and less than half of what the stealership would have charged. Driving around with the steel belts showing in your tires with how we drive, you gotta be nuckingfutts!

LolZ I didn't know they were that bad till I took it to him. I'm searching for tires but have to wait till I can get abit more cash.

Also, forgot to add that he also told me there was a recall on my car for airbag module connector (which gave the blinking of the airbag on my steering dash), so he did that for free!

I want to refringe from adding another new thread but I have a dome light problem. I've connected LED lights to my dome switch (left hand side, so if you press in the dome, light comes on and light goes out).

There was no problem till now where I press on the brakes and the dome light flickers on and off even when set to off.. Can any of you redirect me to the right place?

Just got two used 245/45/18 NITTO NT555 replaced, balanced and mounted on for $120 with about 60% thread life. Just going to burn all the tires at the same time so I can get 4 new ones instead of just 2 for the time being. I couldn't deal with fish tailing when it was raining lol
