It opens the engine sound up quite a bit especially with a pioneer charger and ztube

I didn't notice any change but that may be because I put Berks HFC and an HKS replica on the same time and now my ears bleed when I floor it lol.

Did you also install the intake you mentioned? When our VQ motors were manufactured Nissan made an error in the plenum so the two front ports don't receive the same amount of air as the other four. The spacer corrects Nissan's error and you should have felt a better response when you drove your G. You need a Z-Tube along with your intake and MotorDynes exhaust system to appreciate what it will do for your G35. Tell all your family and friends that's what you want for Christmas. Here's MDs number 661-993-5111

You have roughly 240 whp stock. You're not going to notice an 5-10hp increase.

I seem to recall that MotorDynes instructions for installing my 1/2" spacer mentioned removing the negative side of the battery during install. Since I ordered the whole copper gasket thing and cleaned everything before putting it back together it took me an hour, that's long enough for the ECU to reset....which it did. I noticed the increase the minute we left the neighborhood, didn't want to wake anyone up!

You must be very sensitive to notice a 3% power gain at best. But yea, op, reset the ecu and maybe you'll feel something on your butt dyno.
