Exclamation Turbo suggestions

Im thinking of saving up for a turbo for my 2004 G35 coupe AUTOMATIC. So obviously the turbo cannot be fitted for a 6 speed. I need some help picking out some options. If anyone has any suggestions on a turbo for an automatic G35 for a decent price, comment or send me a message of information or a link to the product. Thanks

I believe a lot of people go with the Vortec kit and make a slight modification to the charge pipe.
There are a lot of things to consider, but the Vortec kit can put you close to the limitations of the engine/tranny in stock form.
What do you consider a decent price?

The Vortech is a supercharger.

OP you really need to read all of this thread. Based on your post you have a lot to learn about FI, who told you a turbo can't work on a 6 speed? https://g35driver.com/forums/forced-...ion-noobs.html

Yeah I know its a centrifical SC. I was at work bored and decided that I would recommend a SC since he mentioned "decent price" I didn't mean to imply that Vortec made turbo kits . I took that to mean that he didn't want to spend a ton on install costs (TT set-up as an example). . I know there are several different turbo kits both single and TT and install cost (just assuming he's paying for that as well) varies depending on the kit and turbo(s) location. The Vortec kit is cake compared to some turbo kits to install. IIRC vortec doesn't market a kit for the auto G (or maybe it was just the auto sedan) but there are a lot of peole that have modified the charge pipe to work with the Auto (clearance issues)
I've done my fair share of dabbling in the F/I world with various turbo set-ups that ive put together, many turbo's but never a supercharger. One thing that Ive learned is you can either have (1) fast (2) reliable (3) cheap... pick two and sacrifice the other. You gotta pay to play

OP you really need to do some reading, from the looks of it you have no idea about FI in the least bit...

Sorry I wasn't clear, my comment was for the OP. I've seen enough of your posts to know you knew that. I didn't want him to get confused at the reference, he's got a ton of other **** to figure out on his own if he wants to go FI.

Any form of FI will work on an auto. Read the provided links and browse the FI section for information. You need to consider your goals and budget before asking for recommendations.

Gotcha
Working nights suck, I'm tired.
OP check the link provided above and explore the F/I section on here. There is a lot of good info to be had on here and My350Z. Read through the posts, the good and the bad. There are some good people on here that are boosted that would be good to learn from. They will stand out once you start doing some digging.

They do, I ordered my Vortech V3 new for my 5AT. All non-revup's use the same kit, regardless of the tranny, revup's use a different mounting bracket.
