I feel you on the driveway situation, I destroyed the flex pipes on my stock exhaust 6 months after I installed my coilovers. My driveway was the only difficulty in my commute, including a parking lot filled with speed bumps.

But on stock height there shouldn't anything that you cant avoid if you take a wide enough angle, especially with a stock front.
The sedan comment was tongue in cheek, as I see a lot of drivers (Camrys, etc.) go straight over drives and things. Even though we are relatively low from the factory, they engineered the height well to provide the most obstacle clearance.

If the OP is really having issues on stock height, he seriously needs to adjust his driving style.

Agreed. As for 18's i think mostly all of them look bad save a few. In this case i would spend a few hundred more for the oem 19s. Than get a mild drop later and youd be golden. The way you drive is causing the scraping though. Just slow down
