You think his spinners look bad on a G35, imagine them on your M3

honestly, i dont like spinners on a G. i like my volks better...

 

btw, i am 18, and i bought this car when i was 17. i like to drive my G to my high school parking lot, lots of fun.

Those who are able to take their own path and not conform to the majority are bold! I give you a lot of props for that--you know what you want, it looks great to you, and you're loving your ride... ultimately that's all that matters. Originality is not always revered but hey, it's always refreshing

 

alright im gonna lash out just like everyone else....

I can see putting spinners on a g and making it a VIP car or something (i dont like VIP but... whatever floats ur boat like some have said). Now what i cant see... is wasting money on those terrible looking spinners. I have a couple of friends with spinners and they alll look sooooooo much better than those (also all on suvs/trucks).

The system... i dont like it at all. I think it looks terrible. You should have gotten different screens in the headrests in my opinion just because those dont look like they fit right. I like the look of headrest screens that nothing but viewable screen shows. That pioneer install looks just like every other flip out screen. I like in dash, oem looking screens. Flip outs just look cheap to me... The system looks terrible.... should of had it done proffessionally instead of doing it yourself. Looks like u tossed those subs in the back and jsut threw the amps and let em sit where they fell.....

terrible terrible waste of money. You are obviously trying way to hard..... you have terrible taste... and that car looks ridiculously terrible.

you shoulda got some wheels like this... they look a little better than yours in my honest opinion

Why all the hating? I dont like the wheels, but spinners are a nice touch, especially davins (Sp1, or the wood grain Davins) Mad props to you and your car good luck with it... Not everyone should have volks on a 350 or G35. I swear every G35 site i go to i see another set of volks... Be original folks... btw i am getting volks TE-37 in polished black 9.5 in front , 10.5 in back

For all those people who say - "He likes his car, and that's all that counts" I disagree. First of all, he is not just quietly minding his own business and enjoying the mods he has made to his car, he is being very extroverted and cruising his car up and down the streets trying to impress people and coming on this forum looking for our reactions. If you want to play the game like that, then you need to be willing to take whatever reactions you get.

For those people who feel the need to be the "mature voice of reason" on this forum whenever people express strong opinions, and who say that any mod done to a G is fine and shouldn't be criticized as long as the owner is happy, I wish you would just let people on this forum express themselves the way they want to so long as they are not engaging in bona fide hate speech.

When I go to a museum, and I see a piece of artwork that I think is really ugly, I don't say to myself - "Well, as long as the artist likes it, that's all that counts". And I don't do this with cars either. I and others should be allowed to express strong opinions by those soliciting the opinions of the members of this forum without being lectured by those who hold the "It's all good" attitide. You should be free to express your opinion, and please allow us to express our opinions so long as our opinions do not involve ad hominem attacks.

Well, I guess nobody hear has the same taste as me and that's cool. But here's a couple of retorts. 1, i got the dent the day before the pic so eat a di**. as if i cant afford to fix it. Second, myron and davis sent the wrong headrest for my car and they are being replaced next week. Third, ya maybe i could have gotten different spinners but then i would have the same as everyone else, i went for originality. Forth, ya the system could have been done better but I didn't want to custom the trunk cause if I did the subs would have had to upfire and that takes away from the bass alot and it was recomended that i didn't. 5th, when i got my head unit put in I was the first dude with one all you guys were wondering what you were going to do and I already had it, there were no din kits availible when I had that done. 6th, my rims on thier own without the spinners kill all your volks anyways, just my rims are ten times hotter.7th, I get girls anytime, but I must admit when girls come runnin' it's much easier, let me ask you this " how many girls did you get with this week mr. volk? And as far as the gangster talk, I'm from the hood, I'm sure no one on this site is familiar with the hood so you wouldn't understand so for me to be where I am today all on my own cause both my parents are gone is more then I can say for all of you business men and rich kids. Maybe you guys wont say so much when I get the turbo kit in the summer and I'm dusting ya'll with SPINNERS, and your wondering what just happened. And as far as getting an escalade, ya maybe I should but I think I prefer my range rover just a little bit.

I just went to Pep-Boys and got a smoking deal on, wait for it, a set of four spinners..oh yeah..who's drooling now. I plan on getting out my OEM jack and getting these puppies on. They're chrome, with a million spokes & they're 22'...I can hear the girls gasps as they see me rolling.
Secondly, I'm installing a big screen TV in my car, I've cleverly made a mount out of an old garbage can, spreayed it so it looks stock, it holds my 62' plasma a treat.

Thirdly, I'm going a different route on my headrest screens, I took a picture of a screen, enlarged it..then I laminated them. I'm going to stick these on the back of the headrests..they will look super!!!!

And finally, I just dented the rear of my car with the corner of the TV, looks good...

G-UNIT OUT!!!

As for the 'girlies' taking a liking to said G.. let's just say that a TTed coupe on $5,000 rims by itself would NOT make me jump in the backseat (and admire said headrest monitors ) It's all about the owner really, so what type of girls get wet on looking at spinners is completely beyond me...
