Motor Mounts Loose

Just to give you a heads-up. I was having excessive vibration at high speeds 90+ mph and i would hear this sqeaking/knocking (very low, hard to hear) sound, over bumps.

Well, it turns out my motor mounts were loose. I have 15k on my IP coupe. The Dealer tightened the mounts and things are back to normal.

Thanks for the heads-up.
That's something you wouldn't normally check for.

Welcome aboard BTW.

hmmm, I'm getting a squeak sometimes when I put the car in gear (when cold). They replaced the belts because thats what it sounded like (no effect).. but it might be the mounts. I'll have to look into that.
