Driver's race. I have owned 2 S2000s and I currently own a G coupe. The G is powerful, but heavy. The S2000 is torqueless, but extremely light. Really, they are two completely different beasts. I would take my S2000 on mountain drives in stock form and feel confident and have a blast. The G- I would not take on mountain drives. But if you are just talking a straight line drag race (on a track) with stock cars, it would be a driver's race. Pretty evenly matched, really.

Ya its pretty much even between the two so it would be a drivers race in the end

I have also owned an '03 S2K for 6 years before getting a G coupe. The S2K definitely FEELS faster and sounds ridiculous revving to 9 grand, but they're about the same in a straight line. I could go on all day about things I like and don't like about each car. Oh, the S would completely own the G in the curves lol.

Thanks. Got rid of it cuz after a few drives from NC to NY made me realize I needed a bigger, quieter car. I miss the S but don't miss the lack of torque lol. Plus the G is a head turner too.
