G35 And Mustang V6
I say keep the G and put an LS Corvette/GTO motor swap in it and you can get the best of both worlds...call it a Hybrid if u will...then you can say you own both import and domestic..plus the women like the way the G's look more...i'm sure the rest of the G members can vouch me for that..
Well I'ma be honest I can get a really nice car from the auction for a good price my dad being a mechanic, and a body shop if he can make sure nothing is wrong with it i'll be fine so idk just wanna upgrade from a G35 and ford be honest i know thats a fact a downgrade but always liked em but people say there trash so thats out of the question might just do the G37.. not the nicest looking car just don't want 80,000 miles on my car -___-
Personally, I'd rather own my G with 80,000 miles on it (only have 60k currently), knowing I'm the second owner, and it was well cared for by the first owner, who only put 25,000 miles on it, than own a newer, lower mileage car that was written off for salvage at one point in its life. I know damage can be repaired, but"newer" and "lower mileage" aren't always "better".
If you like a car, get it. Who cares what a bunch of strangers on any particular internet forum think? You're the one who will live with the benefits and consequences of your decisions day to day (assuming you're spending your own money).

In an earlier post you suggested buying a Salvaged vehicle lol.
In any case; To Each His Own. If you like the Mustang then get it. I agree with what the others have been preeching so far though - GT trim or higher only.

See thing is, this car has been in two accidents both from the front sadly I buy cars and sell em decided to keep this one, and i recently got hit and runed, so that makes it two accidents, and let's be honest cars aren't reliable after two accidents ... You see what i'm saying?
If you can obtain, repair, drive, then sell the Mustang you want at a profit or breakeven, you've lost nothing but time for trying out a car you're interested in. I'm sure you can pick up another damaged G at auction in the future if you find you made the wrong choice.
Best wishes.
Its the business of buying fvcked up cars for dirt cheap, restoring (completely I would hope), then selling for profit.

^Yep. I work in
insurance
and deal with salvage all the time. Usually its not worthe the hassle of trying to repair.
I just thought it was funny that OP said his dad buys from the auction and can get good cars (salvage) but then says that cars invovled in 2+ accidents are not reliable.

stop there. you don't have to be spoiled rich kid to own a G now. thanks.
Alright smart *** The G is my Car.....second of all I said from the AUCTION meaning the car is 3 times cheaper if anything or probly has a rebuild title, or probly hit somewere thats not major, so yes if I can pull a Mustang for 8-11 grand out and sell my G for 15-16 grand then yeah I can have a few grands saved up..
you know there is a place called a dealership where they sell new cars.
