Unhappy Got in an accident in my G *pics*

I got in an accident this past friday. I was in Waltham, MA, where I go to school. For the record, the roads there are horrible, potholes everwhere, and just navigating the roads are horrible as well. I was apparently in a right turn only lane, there was clearly no indication as to what lane had what function. I was in the right lane going straight and the light was green, I was going about 35mph. There were cars in the left lane, and they had just started going because the light had just turned green, i was a ways back and just proceeded to go through the intersection at 35mph. Well the last second a old guy in a minivan took a left in front of me, and I hit him, the worst feeling I have ever gotten in my life. First thing I thought was, my dad is going to kill me, I mean I did pay for half the car, but still, I knew he was going to be mad. Well I got a citation for not slowing at an intersection, and the other guy got who knows what. He was supposed to yield, but the fact I was in the wrong lane counted against me, and the accident was considered as both at fault. The damages are mostly cosmetic, the radiator fluid did leak out though. I'm guessing I need a new bumper, hood, light, grill, fender, radiator, radiator accessories, and a few other small parts. Luckily my engine is still intact and my intake was not touched. Most of all no one was hurt. Still saddens me that it had to happen to me, I have never gotten pulled over, or gotten in an accident. Its just I didn't know the area because I live in NH, just pure bad luck.
Also, I was wondering, do you think I can as the mechanic to throw in a OEM front Lip and the 3M clear bra? that would make up for the hassle.
Here are the pics, quality isn't that great because I took them with my camera pho

Sorry bout your accident. Looks like its definately repairable given no frae damage. Is the plastic/fiber cross member snapped? I am curious as to the strength and plasticity of this piece being this is the first car I have had that had a sub structural part made out of a composite material.

I'm certain your insured, so its just a matter of waiting for your insurance Co. to cut the check for the repairs.....

From the looks of things, I'd say you have $7,000 in damages....mostly cosmetic....they will have it looking like new in no time flat....(good time for an aftermarket bumper/grille )

Like all said above, no one was injured, thats the best news. In a couple of weeks you'll be as good as new.....
Best of luck

Damn well the good thing is, everything is mainly cosmetic. Good luck with the repairs and be very selective as to who you take it to.

the rad support is not a cross member. That would be on the lower portion of the car. The rad support has no structural purpose what so ever. You are very safe in your. The rebar is a solid piece of aluminum

yeah the solid piece of aluminum bent in, it basically took most of the stress, I just wish I had seen the minivan coming, because even at 35mph i'm sure I could have stopped easily with the brembos
