Just bought a G!!

After searching for over a month, I finally found one to call my own. '05 with the aero, premium, and 6MT. I got a pretty good deal I think. Paid 14.5k and it only has 68,000 miles and still has a year left under warranty

Anyways here's a quick pic I snapped. First thing I'm gonna do is tint the windows. Any other suggestions?

Check for oil consumption. Get clean fresh oil and make sure you get 5qt in and driver 1000 miles and check your dipstick after letting the car settle overnight. If you are more than 1/3qt low then under warranty you qualify for a new motor.

Take care of all these maintenance.

Brake fluid
Clutch
Power steering
Differential fluid
Tranny Fluid
Brake pads and Rotors
Belts
Air filter (K&N filter should be $30 new and not $40. plz look at my thread so you do not get ripped off)
Cabin Filter (FRAM FRESHBREEZE)
German Castrol Syntethic 0w30 oil change and (NAPA, Puralotor, K&N, MOBIL 1 or Wix)
Clutch fluid (not sure if you have manual)
Compression rod bushing
Tires

thanks for the write-up. I asked the previous owner about the OC issue and he said it was fine. It is a manual too btw

My bad I copy pasted from another thread of mine but realize you said it in your post and also the 19" rays are a giveaway usually. I am pretty sure warranty is till 70k miles so I would get an oil consumption test started and also check sparkplug 6 & 5 along with others for oil in the tubes. That would mean valve covers which is another common issues.

Welcome to DRIVER, Congratulations on finding a very clean coupe! Since you know the previous owner you have access to the service that's been done on your G35, hope fully he followed Nissan's recommendations. All fluids replaced every 30K miles, oil/filter changes every 3500 miles. Since you have the '06 MT coupe, check your oil level at least once a week. Good Luck & Enjoy your new ride....

Seems like a great deal! Congratulations!

If I could find someone to by my '04 AT for what I think it's worth, then find someone to sell me an '06 MT for what you paid, I'd be set.
