I say be patient and wait it out until you have enough cash for coils. Best suspension decision you will ever make.
He'll be improving handling much more by buying new springs, struts, sways, endlinks and the bushings he doesn't even need rather than spending that money on a set of coilovers that just look good, but feel and drive like crap.

True too. I think it depends what he's using the car for. If it's a daily, personally to me, unless you drive very aggressively, all the handling/suspension upgrades are kinna hard to justify off the track. BUT it is your money, spend it on what you want! Haha, either way as long as you have fun driving your car.

Are those the struts you are talking about?
Yes. I'm not 100% sure about coupes, but Tokico D-Specs for the 350Z are exactly the same as the ones for the sedans, except it offers more adjustability, which is a good thing.

Why not get these? Are you purchasing new endlinks?
Because blues suck. Get them as a cheap stock replacement, not an upgrade.

He won't need endinks unless he's adding sway bars, in which case, he doesn't really need them still. 05+ G35s come with beefier endlinks that will work fine, and if he has an older model, he still should be fine with stock endlinks for the most part.

However, if he lowers his car enough, he will need to get toe bolts for the rears, and it would be ideal for him to get a camber arm for the fronts.

Then be sure to get at least the toe bolts for the rears.
