Hey guys I am bored and dont feel like doing much at work so I figured I would start a thread of things I want/Should mod on my G. First off I got a 2005 coupe AB with black leather interor. and 6 speed M.

Current mods=Virgin
Ok well it was dropped but took that out for driving in WI. and Im old I dont need any extra stiff ride, I want comfort. I got the 19" oems with new tires and a set of 18"ASA's with blizex for the little winter driving it will see.

Mods in the works =

Window tint will be done on friday, not sure how dark I should go. If you got pics of a AB coupe with tint post pictures with the tint % and any thoughts you have on tint.

Have a Z tube on the way should be here this week sometime.

Desired mods

Headlights. I love all the bad *** mods I have seen on here for headlights and I want to say thanks to all of those that posted DIY. I am a talented mechanic and can do pretty much anything when given instructions. I like the HID and halo kits and the modding and painting the inside black. what are your preferance on any kits you have used and of corse pictures is a plus.

Tail lights = to much red back there something has to be done about it not sure what. Ideas? I dont care for the overlays much.

Interior LED = cheap easy mod. any preference on the kits I see listed on the board? I was thinking about doing all lights in bright white and put the Blue LEDS in the doors so you get that nice blue glow when you open the door but when you want light you got the bright *** LEDS in the dome glove and trunk.

Things I am looking for:

Trunk carpet mat. mine has a bleach stain on it from previous owner=Lame.

Drivers side seat repair the common rip that the seats get is there a fix for this? I didnt look for that one yet.

Floor mats black all weather and carpet

Way to hook up my ipod? not sure how I want to do this. I am pretty sure my car is a non Bose car. it doesnt say bose anywhere. I wouldnt mind getting a stock bose head unit and nav system but for that price I probebly will just go aftermarket.

Auto dim rearview mirror. If I find one from the right year I assume there is a harness up there for it and it would be a plug and play mod?

Ok thats all I can think of at the moment. I will post pictures to this thread once I start getting some of this accomplished. thanks for any "usefull" input ideas or sugestions.

LOL I knew someone would call me out. I did some searches on it but it seems the stickys are lots of worthless posts and not much information. no offense I went through four pages and it seemd like a bitch fest more then information. I have allready made some purcheses off the market place and will continue to watch for the things I need but I also know people like me have stuff sitting around that they dont really think about selling untill someone says they need it. so thanks for nothing LOL

 

Hey I got this Jim wolf heat shield and z-tube installed last night. got it used from a member here. feels like I am either missing a piece or an instruction to get the heatshield to mate up with the intake peice that rests on top of the radiator? any idea if I need to grind down the plastic on the radiator mount a little so it can contact or is there a little rubber boot or somethign else I am missing? Thanks
