Have you seen the new Nissan Azeal concept yet?

Is it just me, or does it look like a mini G35 coupe, with a dash of the 350Z
mixed in?

"Nissan’s AZEAL Coupe, the first concept car created at the new Nissan Design America, Inc. studios in Farmington Hills, Mich., is set to debut at the 2005 North American International Auto Show in Detroit in early January. The AZEAL Coupe Concept is a fresh interpretation of the small sports coupe – an affordable, high performance entry-level coupe with an emphasis on personality and aggressive styling."

So it'll be a cheap G35 for the masses. Great.

Don't like the idea. Indeed looks too Scion-ish while resembling the G in some ways. Where did our exclusivity go?

 

You know, I never really thought the Scion tC looked like the G35.
But now that you mention it, I can see similarities.

This Azeal concept struck me as a Mini G35 right away though, mostly
because of the headlights, especially with that long clearance light strip.

I suspect the Azeal will come with the Sentra's engine, FWD and 6spd.
Probably sticker for around $20K. If Nissan gives it with at least a 200hp
engine, it could contend with the Acura RSX.

 

I like it, could make it my toy, race car!!!

 

JoeG: It does also look like a mini-G, i wasn't saying that it didn't cause it does basically have the same look. But as far as the cheap G35 goes, unless this is made, is definitely the tC. I can't stand seeing one of those things come down the road, I just want to throw tiny sharp objects at it...but I can't. Unfortunately theres a few of them on my college campus but thankfully theres 4-6 G35's making their way around the streets. It's always nice to see other people share our same taste....except for that girl who drives a MB G500 - eeewwwwww I can't stand that thing. It's almost as bad as scion's refridgerator on wheels except that its still a mercedes..

 

i have a similar problem with vw beetles. i feel the urge to either step on it, or if it has a huge spoiler i want to pick it up by it and throw it out of the way
