What do you do with the middle switch bay between your seat heater switches?
I don't know what is supposed to be there, I don't have Navi either.

My production date is Dec 02. I modded another seat heater switch to control my interior lights.
I wanted the 3 position so that one channel can turn the interior lights on while driving,
the other channel can have the interior lights turn on/off with the dome lights,
or as I call it, Illuminated Entry.

What have you done with it?

Early 03 (production date before April 03) 6MT's have 2 seat heater switches, and an empty bay made for an OEM switch. So I used a seat heater switch to do what I want with it, and still look (somewhat) OEM.

Hmm I wonder why it's there. Why is the orientation of the seat in the middle switch different?

It's from an 04 AT which had sideways oriented seat heater switches.
I'm swapping it out for one that looks like my others because I had a little too much fun with a hacksaw with the one in there currently.

LOL... I like the part about the hacksaw.

Sounds like it was probably more of a job fitting to a hand dremel.

I was cutting off the plastic around the connectors so i had room to solder wire on the connectors, and the saw went under where i was expecting and was cutting away at the base of the connectors.
Right now only one position works.

With the replacement i went on a hunt to find the pigtails to the switches so that I can use those instead of soldering onto plug connectors, to continue that OEM look underneath hehe
