paint peels off interior door panel

Has anyone else had this problem? I have an 07 g35 and the little pocket on the door panel which you would grab from the inside to close your door has very soft paint...at first I figured my nails were not trimmed well, but you can just scrape that paint off with your fingernail anywhere....any solutions?

that is not paint, that is that rubber texture crap. What i did is sanded mine down and gave it to the paint shop to color match my car. I have the 2nd gen sedan but this all works the same. I think you should do the same thing.

Absolutely guys this is a common problem. I replace probably 10-15 of these a month, they changed them in 2009 and no longer put the rubberized coating on them. Also be very careful or the coating around the steering wheel switches will do the same thing. Hope this helps guys...
