Thanks for the input. I'm still undecided on soley which color I would prefer. The deal-breaker for white is probably going to be that you can't get a black interior with it. So probably black on black with black trim and some black accents on a black background with black details it probably is.

I considered Black/Black at first and almost got it.
What made me choose the white was that black is a b***h to maintain and hide scrathes swirls and/or dings.
I just found a HUGE rock chip on my hood this week. The rock chip went into the paint but luckily it just looks like dirt. Maybe I'll have to get a regular bra to cover it.
Why INFINITI killed the WHITE/GRAPHITE interior...<sigh> and the BREMBOS <sigh>...
I'm glad I picked up a 2004. Now if I can only not burn the clutch going up Californaia and Powell during rushour....2nd time I've done that..and only on California and Powell...Tried the Ebrake and Gunning it but traffic was so tight...and the smell of a burning clutch....sniffles -

Mine in black and love it!! Takes a little extra care keeping it clean, but NOTHING looks better than that menacing blackpearl after a good wax...plus it insures that a slob like me will keep it clean... lol As far as chipping, all paint is vulnerable to the hazzards of driving. Get black with 14% tint!

Take it from me, I have owned both colors (not specifically G35, but you get the idea)...
****BLACK****
Pros:
1. When clean, looks craaaazy sick at night especially with shiny rims.
2. Has a sporty/luxury look to it.
3. Doesn't stand out (for cops)
4. Not to many people have it on the G35
5. Girls dig it.
Cons:
1. Cleaning, cleaning, cleaning...the minute you start to get lazy is when you will not feel good about your car. I have noticed that once I start to give up on the exterior cleaning/washing, I have no drive to clean the interior.
2. Swirl marks, gotta know how to clean your car the right way, not just a "bucket and towel", but down to the detail of what type of cloth to use, how to use it etc...
3. Shows water marks from sprinklers and after a LIGHT shower, dirt deposits are the worst.
4. The car will get extrememly hot in the summer and so will the leather.
5. Dirt shows up faster after a wash.
6 Birds Shi* white turds on your car.
7. Scratch marks are white
****WHITE****
Pros:
1. Sweeeet looking. Also has the split identity of luxury/sport.
2. When fixed up, they tend to look better than black G's in my opinion.
3. Doesn't stand out (for cops)
4. Dark tint looks awsome.
5. Girls dig it (any G if you haven't figured it out by now =) ).
Cons:
1. Gets dirty easily, but not as apparent as black cars.
2. Brids shi* black turds on your car.
3. Any scratch marks are black or grey depending on depth.
So as you can see, my list for white is shorter, thus I would personally go White since that color is easier than black, but looooook siiiick on a G35. Just go to www.cardomain.com and look at pictures to help you decide.

nothing looks better than a clean black car. but keeping that way is the hardest part. i had a black car and my wife currently has a black accord and it is truly a pain to keep clean. of course, a clean and waxed coupe looks great. if you don't mind cleaning it every week or don't mind it looking always dirty by not washing it weekly, then go for it. but pearl looks great too in my opinion.
why are you even asking us? i'm sure you already know pros/con with black or white cars. just pick the color you truly like/love.
