Z1 Motorsports Silicone Hoses

worth it to get? just for the dress up factor?

any reviews on these things, did a search and came up with little.... and one on driver use them??

and i know its a personal opinion but what color hoses would you guys n girls get if you drove a DG coupe?
I really think black looks to stock, and I like blue but i'm just getting a general census

What other engine bay mods have you done or are you planning to do? Pick an overall theme and then stick to it.

im just thinking of color as far as it goes, my engine will most likely be polished in the future and i think im gonna do blue, not red or black

EDIT: this is just a thread for color and reliability of the hoses, if your not gonna put in input towards the color or reliability, please feel free to not post here although questions are welcome. just bold statements about saving money are not welcome

Why not go with Mishimoto or Samco hoses from one of our vendors? I have the blue Mishimoto hoses myself, along with the polished bay, and the contrast is great. As Marcus said, just pick a theme and stick to it. Don't go throwing in multiple colors in your bay.

i put the blue Z1 hoses in my car @ 60k as I was replacing the antifreeze anyways. Hoses age from use and heat ,so replacing them sometime is a good investment.

Thanks, I wish more people would just give me an opinion, instead of telling me to save money -.-... And yes i would never try to throw multiple colors in the engine bay, i don't think it looks good unless it is a solid theme

Get them i think it dresses it up. Even if you dont have anything else done in your engine bay.

I did the Z1 hoses. Do it if you have the money. Good dress up. Also they last longer than stock. Be careful with standard hose clamps. The silicon tends to squeeze thru the holes in the clamp. I bought silicon hose clamps at Kraegen. they don't have the holes on the hose side of the clamp.

I was going to get blue hoses for mine as well, but realized they were a rip-off, so I started dressing it up for cheaper ways first. I'll finish off with hoses

I myself is looking into the Samco but not right now. Don't want to waist money if my OEM is still good. Most likely replace them when i hit the 50,000+ mark. If you don't want to waist your money just wait till it comes time to replace them.
