Yes. Several online nissan stores have it for about $25. I would just call your local Nissan dealer and have them order it in which is what I did for this particular part.

I think maybe this will work for my problem too. I'm going to make my husband try it!

Good luck! Are his symptoms similar to what I had described? If not, it could be the blower motor or some people have had the "brain" flake out which is part of the display in the center of the dash.

You can test the relay by flipping the 2 relays around that are on the back of the fuse box. Someone about a year ago added that to this thread as a great troubleshooting step.

Question

So this is what is happening: the heater works fine if the temperature isn't very low outside (I park my car on the street). But, on cold mornings when the temperature outside is 15 degrees F or lower, the fan doesn't blow ANY air, cold or hot for a good 20 minutes. The front defrost doesn't even blow!!! Then finally when I roll into work, it starts blasting the hot air I so desperately needed for my morning commute. Thank goodness the seat heater works. Now I just bring a blanket. My husband added coolant, the level wasn't even that low when he checked. The car squeals as soon as I start it up on cold mornings and lasts a few minutes.

Could there be a coolant air bubble causing this? Will the relay help?

When I drive home from work and the temperature outside is up to 20+ degrees I get the heat to actually start blowing sooner. But I have to keep turning it off and on and changing settings before something happens lately.

Those symptoms are in line with the bad relay issue, I can give you a 99% guarantee that the $30 part will fix it for you. If you scroll up a way on the page, I have a link to my thread on this issue which includes a DIY on the replacement. I think my pictures have expired, but steps are there. There is much more information on this issue in that thread including part #'s and such.
