engine bay color scheme

So I have an ip coupe and I'm looking to start some modifications to the engine bay. I want to pick a color to work with under there as far as hoses, battery covers, valve covers and such.goes but im not quite sure what to go with . I'm most likely going to polish the plenum, throttle body and timing chain cover

With IP almost any accent color would work IMO. Just break up the color with polished accents, contrast is key. Sean (SxExCx) polished quite a few parts in my engine bay, does excellent work!

so.....what's the color scheme for the exterior. Things should kinda of flow from exterior, interior to the engine bay. Like Marcus said, hard to go wrong with IP and accenting color. GL

Well exterior of my car is basicly going to be black and white with gold wheels. I might just go with the red and polished accents

Good Advice...^...consider this train of thought, you want the focus to be on your engine not hoses and wires or battery covers. Make those disappear by doing a wire tuck and leaving everything around the engine black and engine components polished. There's a IP coupe that belongs to one of the JDM guys where there are no visible wires and the motor is black. It's so clean like that it hurts because it's so simple...and too cool!
