Since you've never heard a TDX V2 in person I can understand why you're considering purchasing a ARK. Nothin against them, my roommate has one. But there's a mutual friend of ours who has a TDX V2 with ART pipes, and even my roommate envies his exhaust note. As far as the aesthetic appeal of the ARK, psh, the TDX has that too. Motordynes product line is second to none.

 

Even though the Z in this video is a HR, this still gives a great perspective in how exotic this exhaust sounds. Plus Motordynes products are independently dyno proven to produce power. Enjoy.

If you want the best exhaust for your car get the tdx v2. Ive had mine for over a year and love it. Also have art pipes as well as md spacer. Pretty much have everything md made for our cars even sways. Md is the best IMO. Everyone who hears the exhaust loves it. And it looks good too. Not over the top but the tips are nice and mine have the burnt tip as well. Nice thing about md is you can switch out parts so if you want a different set up later on you can do that. My $0.02 from someone who has it and daily drives the car. If you get art pipes as well be warned you will smell some nice exhaust fumes when your windows are rolled down

That being said I can't tell you anything about the other exhaust just my experience with mine.

And mine??? Between two of us im not sure how much better we can describe how good the exhaust sounds....
With that said the only experience iv had with the tdx2 is the videos posted here, it does sound awesome but IMO it sounds a bit more tinny then the ARK , but not in a bad way, i guess maybe raw it the word im looking for.
Lookwise i feel Ark is second to none. Butagain this is my opinion

I highly doubt no matter which u choose you will be saying "wish i got the other" its like youre choosing between Scarlett Johansson or Megan Fox.... either way u win

Thanks for clearing it up! i just like to ask alot of questions and im really limited when it comes to spending 1,000+ (im new to all this stuff when it comes to exhausts)

 

I just put my stock cats back on with my Ark. I had my berks on when i installed the ARK, so i had never heard it with stock cats. it sounds pretty mean still, there's NO rasp at all. It's noticeably quieter, but not enough for me to upset about it.

I'll report when i get my ART pipes on.

 

When I said my good friend has a MD TDX V2,this is the guy I was referring to. His exhaust is absolutely incredible. Try to hear one in person. when you do, your question will be answered a million times over.

 

You keep going on about the looks of the ARK... What does it offer besides the ARK lettering that the MD doesn't? This ish is b-e-a-utiful!!

get art pipes!!!! i couldnt tell you cuz i got the whole thing together but it sounds like a beast. ive had a gtr owner seek me out and want to race because he heard my car and thought i had "at least 5-600 hp"....i laughed lol....wish it did!! but it does sound amazing

 

is there any rasp with the ART pipes? my ARK with Berks has some rasp when i really get on the throttle.
