Oxidation on headlight lenses...

I know this is something that has plagued a lot of us...

What did you use to clean them up? I tried the RainX kit. They looked good for a couple days but now they're back funky looking...

I'm also interested in buying a replacement lense if anyone knows who might have one...

After your done using a kit, you have to make sure to seal the lights, otherwise they will do what you described.

i didn't use any sealer. did my car (red car pictured above) back in april and are still as clear as when I firrt did them. But then again, I wax them everytime I wash the car so that might help keep them clear

There is your answer, wax protects what you did to your lights.

^ Yep

Wax Contains UV inhibitors, UV is what damages your Headlight lenses. Meguiars is coming out with a Headlight protector in 2012, cant wait for it.

About the protectant - it's been tested extensively in the lab, of course, and it offers literally thousands of hours of UV protection. It's super easy to apply, almost like applying a pure polish. Once applied you can definitely feel an improved slickness on the surface of the lens.

What can you use to seal your lights? I wetsanded mine a while back and they looked great but oxidized again, since I don't have time to wash my car/wax my headlights every so often to keep them from oxidizing.
