Just got off the phone with a dealer and was told that starting May 1 production, CB will be replaced by Midnight Blue.

Any other confirmation of this?

My CB was Ordered in April (Q order number) and should be in production. I wonder if I just got one of the last of the CB or maybe I'll get the call about the color as well?? No chat on any of the other sites about this and the Nissan Japan web site still has CB as a paint option as well as the Infiniti web site. I'm skeptical about this, but it will be interesting to see what happens.

Ok now I'm bent. I really wanted the midnight blue for my coupe. I had seen something similiar on a G35 sedan a while back. But of course when I went to the dealership they said only the CB was available and that was it, GRRR. [img]/w3timages/icons/mad.gif[/img]

That was Twilight Blue on the sedans, and it's coming back.. replacing the Emerald Mist in a month or two.

No, the salesperson was using this as a reason for me to get the CB she has on the lot "since you can no longer order CB" according to her.

Could simply be a sales ploy, that is why I asked here for possible confimation.

It was interesting that 1 week before when I brought up the subject that CB was on its way out, the salesperson replied, "I know nothing about that you would know more than me on that one."

Now she calls me yesterday with this information!

 

Just talked to my sales guy and his e-mail reply was "Caribbean blue is indeed going away." thats all he said... no time line... grrrrrrrrrrr

 

i heard somewhere that every year they are going to have a "wild card" colour (yes this is the way we spell colour here in canada) meaning that the colour is only out for 1 year, i guess this year it was CB. midnight blue would be nice and with the willow interior it would give it a classy elegant look. but i still love my DG

I don't think I want to wait until fall for the MB. I think the CB looks great and if they did indeed discontinue, it will be a rare car in the years to come.
