Are your lights working? I have an 06 with same key-less entry and just last week it was having the same exact problems. Eventually I found out my battery died and I just needed to get it charged. Just an idea.

 

Yeah everything works and yes I removed the cap n feel the tension and I hear the clicks but it doesn't turn or it won't get out of park . Ill make a vid and you show you guys the the problem. Thanks for all the help !

 

I want to thank everyone for the help ! finally got it to work!! i needed to "wiggle" the steering wheel.. in other words almost rip it off .. it was like super stuck thanks again! next time i wont be so gentle.
