ya, randy the snow here last week was like 2 inches adn it lasted a good 2 and a half days. if we are lucky it will snow 2-3 times a year and its never above 3 inches. now in lubboc(spelling) where my sister goes to texas tech, it snows there alot. think it has something to to with the panhandle. but anyways, u should keep the G, its awesome.

Yeah, what about all the people in NY that have G coupes, they get more snow... Besides, since you'll be working from home, you won't need to worry about driving in the snow anyways

Neighbors schneigbors. We used to have neighbors that had choppers. You could hear them coming a mile away. I'll be more considerate to my neighbors when they quiet their silly dogs that keep barking.

Dotn worry about your neighbors, they'll love it haha!! And stock with high flow cats having more gains, where did you hear this from?

The snow isn't my concern as much as started a reputation in the neighborhood as "the Californian" with the "Japanese ricer" making all that noise. This is a SMALL town (3500) and I'm moving into the nicer part of town. My neighbor on one side is the pricipal of the school my children will be attending and on the other side is the local bank manager. Anyway, I'll probably end up keeping it and putting a quieter exhaust on...maybe rthe stock one.

It has to do with back pressure and vacuum issues caused by the true dual vs. the OEM dual single dual setup. I dunno. I started a thread about it in the FI forum and received a response simular to that...check it out. Looks like you'll get your pic after all.

If that is what your're worried about, than even if sold it, they would still find a way to make fun of you Here in the PacificNW, people call me the "Crazy californian wearing shorts when it's snowing outside". Heck, they even make fun of me for using an umbrella when it rains (keeping in mind I was a native Oregonian, before moving to CA, then back to OR/WA)

Even in CA, my friends were all like, "Do you guys have movie theatres up in Oregon?", as if we're still in the stone-age up here or something

But yeah, if you wanted to blend in, I think you need to trade in your G coupe for a Mustang

I'm not interested in parting the car...actually, I'm forcing myself NOT to sell it this way. If someone were to come along and offer $40k for everything I listed above, I'd take it. Other than that, not interested in selling. Too much of a hassle parting out.

Well said Britishbloke.

Good luck Randy. Let me know if you are going to the track any time before selling her.
