"IF" I were to sell my Supercharged G...HELP!
"IF" I were to sell my Supercharged G...HELP!
Now, this is a BIG "IF", what do you think I could get for it? What I'm looking for is private party since NO dealer would take it with the SC on.
It's an 04 DG Coupe 6MT with Brembo, OEM lip, splash guards, diffusers, spoiler and Nav with 19000 miles.
Over $15k in aftermarket parts and tuning:
-Polished, Spearco Intercooled, Vortech V-2 SQ SC-Trim Supercharger (400rwhp, 345ftlbs) with stock 8 psi pulley (comes with system) and an upgraded Gates belt for better fitment and quality
-Injen Super SES true dual exhaust
-Kinetix Hi-Flo cats
-Tein Flex fully adjustable suspension with EDFC installed
-Stillen rear camber/toe adjustable arms
-HPS Hawk brake pads
1st set of wheels -19" PIAA Super Rozza Hyperblack wheels (19"x9" front and 19"10" rear) wrapped in 245/35 and 275/35 Bridgestone S03's tires with 5k miles on them.
2nd set of wheels -Stock 7-spoke 18's painted gloss black wrapped in Yokohama AVS ES-100 with less than a 1000 miles on them.
-The whole system finely tuned by Churches Automotive Testing to pull conservative timing at the proper boost levels to retain healthy engine internals (and it still gives the numbers shown above) and installed by Extreme Automotive (as seen on Overhaulin' and Monster Garage), with suspension being installed by world renown Signal Automotive and exhaust installed at Injen Technology's facility by the guy who designed it.
-Mobil 1 full Syn oil since I bought the car changed every 3k and checked every 1k.
-Tranny and Dif fluid changed once.
-As you can see in my sig, it pulls some nice times at the track on street tires and can certainly pull better times with a better driver and drag radials.
Okay, now the reason I ask. I will be relocating to Texas soon and am wondering if I'll be bringing the G with me. I've been back and forth on this in my head.

Now you have to understand that all those things you listed dont really hold their value. I dont think you would get much back from it. Your better off returning to stock form and then sell the parts separately, because your going to lose alot of money if u sell your car with all those parts in it. But if you must ask how much, ive heard whatever aftermarket stuff you put in your car that wasn't there when u picked your car off of the dealership, u add about 10% of the cost of all the after market stuff u put in your car. So if your spent 20k total in anything thats aftermarket, your probably only adding 2000 dollars more to the value of your car compared to the same exact car of yours thats in stock form. So just do the math and figure it out, find out how much your car is worth if its stock and has the same amount of mileage and then add 10% of the total amount cost of aftermarket stuff and you have the value of your car. Now of course u can always be lucky and find somebody that shares the same passion as u with the aftermarket stuff that u purchased and is willing to pay alot more for it, but thats a different story. I hope i helped.

Just my $.02.

I envy you!!!
