headlight help!

hey guys so last june i swaped my 03-05 headlights to 06-07 from the dealer and i transfered the ignitors and ballast cuz they didnt come with either. anyways i recently got in an accident (not my fault just sayin lol) and i had to replace the drivers side headlight and so i bought it also from the dealer, but this time it came with the ignitor but not the ballast so i only transfered the ballast from the broken headlight. and now the newer replaced one is brighter at night then the other one that hasnt been touched since june. do u guys think its because the new one has the new ignitor, or just the bulb on the one from june is bad. Let me know what u guys think.

9 times out of 10 it's the bulb. That why they recommend you change BOTH bulbs at the same time.

Oh aight just cuz I was thinking since the ignitor is what powers it, and the other ignitor would be older. But ya i guess I'll change the bulbs and then if it still doesn't help then I'll change the ignitor
