Car was backed into

So last night my car was backed into and it doesnt look like much damage. The person who backed into it is my plumber, so I have no fear that it is not going to be paid for. So i am asking you folks how much will it be to fix just best guesstimates...

Problems include the TPMS light went off in my car. Rim is fine. I cant see any problems. Car still drives fine.

If you know it will get paid for and assuming you have insurance, why are you concerned about the price to get it fixed?

Yes I have insurance, but Canadian insurance a parking lot accident is 50/50 reguardless of if your in your car or not.

So he is paying cash.... I am getting it fixed and he is paying for it... and being as he is my plumber and a good friend (does all my plumbing for free), I am not gonna rake him over the coals...

That good. If you can do most of the work yourself that might lower the cost more. Like taking off the bumper instead of the shop to do it.

If your car is parked and backed into - then you are 0% at fault and the driver who hit your parked car is 100% at-fault. Because he's a friend; it might be best for you to settle outside of insurance with him though.

Judging by the pics the repair will probably be ~$1,500 if done correctly. Body work is extremely expensive

QFT
had the same problem last year with my GXP. If your car was parked you're at 0% fault

Sucks your G was backed into, lucky you know who did it. Turn this over to your insurance company, that's what you pay them for!

Im with a High Risk insurer... I pay $500 a month for full coverage.

Id rather not have my rates go up when someone is willing to pay cash.
