new here and have some questions

i just bought a 2006 g35 coupe, I'm looking at getting wheels and tires and really like the xxr 521. my car is at stock height and I really don't want to mess with the suspension and lower it. I've had a couple bad experiences with a lowered car. i want to go with the 20x10.5 because I want the lip.
Will this work with a stock suspension and if it does work what tire sizes would you recommend??

If you are going to put 20's on your car please lower it.

i will probably end up lowering it a little bit, but i wanted to see if i could get around it in anyway. and just get the perfect wheel tire combination where it looks good sitting at stock height. thats what im looking for....any suggestions on that then???

I rode on 20s with OEM suspension for a good 5-6 months. Didn't bother me toooo much, but once I put coilovers on, there is absolutely NO WAY I'd go without being lowered again. You can do it, and it'll work, but you're just going to look silly.

Here's a before and after of my rear wheel gap with 20's (275/30/20)

I actually really like the way these tires fit.

Don't mean to bust your nut but one question mark would have done the job. lol, anyways if you aren't looking to spend so much on coilovers i HIGHLY recommend you get some type of drop springs could help you out a bit but 20 without a drop is kind of ridiculous looking.

1. Fender roll
2. coils or springs but i would say coils
3. get 20s or 19s with with some low offsets

But first of all what look or style are u trying to go for? and btw if u want to look good without a drop i would suggest 19s so the ride height won't be as bad but 20s on a stock height is a bad idea. It just doesn't look good but to each his/her own.

DROP IT! because you had a bad experience doesn't mean it will happen again. Just take it to a professional, or read the DIY thread.

i think im going to get the xxr 521 in 18x10 and 18x8.5
and the bad experience was just hitting everything and not being able to get over anything that sucked, i went thru 2 bumpers and lots of camber issues

Why not just keep the stock 19" forged rims? Those stock rims aren't bad looking imo.

20s on stock does not look good. At very least you should probably drop the car an inch all around IMO
