Question Offset stripes = rice?

Hello all, ive been reading the forum for awhile now and finally decided to join.

I just have a question for anyone who wants to give me input!!

I have a 03 CB (Caribbean Blue) Coupe and was wondering if anyone has tried off center stripes like a dodge viper except on the passenger side. I was thinking either a greyish silver like gunmetal, a white pearl or chrome. I know its to his their own but i just don't want my car to look like rice..

It works for some cars. Muscle cars mainly. Other cars look pretty silly with such. Please don't do it!

If you really like this look then go for it. I would strongly recommend against it because I think it would look horrible, but if you like it that is what matters.

I'd advise against it but if you have the need, hire a tint shop lay down a vinyl strip in your choice of colors. This way when you wake up some morning and decide it looks like crap you can remove it easily...Gary

Thanks for the input everyone, its appreciated. The reason i was asking is because im sure everyone know the nissan skyline from fast and the furious. It was a silver skyline with blue center stripes and it looked good so i thought the same.
